Sonia Maria Bartley

Ms. Sonia Maria Bartley was born on February 24, 1967, to the late Emma Downer Bartley and Kenneth Bartley in Jacksonville, Florida. She attended the local schools of Duval County graduating from Jean Ribault High school class of 1985. She had some college experience at Florida Community College of Jacksonville.

Sonia worked at UF Health in Financial Evaluation, Healthy Start Health Families, and ending her work career as an EKG Tech at Mayo Clinic on the Oncology/Hematology floor. She was a ministry partner at Heritage Christian Center. She loved arts & crafts and helping others.

Sonia Maria Bartley quietly went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 28, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emma Downer Bartley and Kenneth Bartley; and brother, Kenneth Bartley, Jr.

Sonia leaves to cherish her memories, her children, VonKesha Bartley, Kimberly Bartley, Jeremy Bartley, and Amber Bryant; grandchildren, Kayvon, Deion, Breon, Tre'von, Kimaya, Kimani, Kimetre, and Faith; brother, Gary Bartley; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
