Stephanie M. Jackson was a woman of deep faith who loved the Lord with her whole heart and sought to serve Him through how she lived, loved, and poured into others. She was bold, funny, direct, and unforgettable. When Stephanie entered a room, she commanded attention not by force, but by presence. She was the life of every space she occupied, a natural motivator, and a woman who believed fiercely in people often before they believed in themselves.

An educator by training and a social worker by calling, she dedicated her life to advocacy, empowerment, and uplifting individuals and communities. She had a special passion for speaking life into young people, encouraging them to see beyond their circumstances and step into their potential.
Stephanie was also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, where she exemplified sisterhood, service, and leadership.
For the last eight years of her career, Stephanie worked at Year Up United, faithfully serving the mission of closing the opportunity divide. This work was deeply aligned with her life’s purpose and passion for empowering young people to build meaningful futures, and it remained close to her heart until the very end.
