Tyrone R. Adams

Tyrone Reginald Adams, 63, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 31, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones.

Born on October 22, 1961 in Jacksonville, Florida, Tyrone was the beloved son of the late Ida Mae Adams. A proud graduate of William M. Raines High School, class of 1979, Tyrone went on to serve his country with honor in the United States Army immediately after graduation.

Tyrone was known for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering work ethic. He dedicated his life to providing for his family and helping others, always putting the needs of those around him before his own.

Tyrone was preceded in death by his mother, Ida Mae Adams Reeves; his grandparents, Tom and Elizabeth Grice Adams; his brother, Keith Adams; and his uncles, Clifford Adams, Sr., Issac Adams and Milton Adams.

Tyrone leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted partner, Shonna Dillard; his wife, Mrs. Thomasina Adams; his children, Dominique Adams, Brittani Adams, and Tyrone Adams, Jr.; his step-children, Tashame’e Kelly, Justin Booker, and Jessica Booker; his granddaughter, Zynique Bartley; his step-grandchildren; his siblings, Lenette Adams and Gregory Adams (Sheila) both of Jacksonville, Florida; his loving cousins, Candace Adams, who faithfully cared for him during his final days; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many sorrowing friends.

Tyrone’s legacy of love, strength, and generosity will continue to live on through his family and all who were blessed to know him.
