Vivian Morton Walker was born on October 9, 1938, in Louisville Kentucky to Oscar and Lenora Morton. Vivian graduated from the local Central High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Louisville.
In 1966, she married Kahn Walker, and together they raised their only child Kevin. As a dedicated spouse of an Army Officer, Vivian supported her husband Kahn through his promotions and numerous relocations. She pursued a career as an Office Manager/Assistant and served as the President of the Officer’s Wives Club while being a devoted mother and longtime church choir member. She deeply cherished being an active and faithful member of Wayman Temple AME church.
Vivian will be mostly remembered as a skilled landscape artist and volunteer art instructor. For Vivian, painting started as a hobby but after much study and practice, her skills blossomed to achieve the status of a certified Bob Ross instructor. She traveled to teach her students in many cities throughout the Southeast.
She is survived by son, Kevin Walker and his wife Ellen; sister, Donna Hamm and her husband Thomas; sisters-in-law, Marva Walker and Angela Morton. The Walker family would like to thank each of you for your prayers, love and concern during this time.
