William McKinley Corley, born on January 3, 1958, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 17, 2026, in Jacksonville, Florida. He was a cherished member of the community and will be remembered fondly by those who knew him.
William graduated from Samuel W. Wolfson High School in 1976 and immediately enlisted in the United States Army, where he served his country with dedication until 1981. Following his military service, William embarked on a successful career, dedicating twenty years to Smuffitt and then another ten years to Kraft, where he was well-regarded for his work ethic and camaraderie.
An avid outdoorsman, William loved fishing and could often be found by the water with a fishing rod in hand. He was also a talented cook, specializing in BBQ, and enjoyed sharing his culinary creations with family and friends. Dancing and baseball were among his other passions, bringing joy and laughter to many gatherings.
William is survived by his children, Timothy, Natasha, and William II; his cherished grandchildren, Nathaniel, Elijah, Isaiah, McKensey, Nandi, and Kingston; his siblings, Alberta Corley Harris, Sylvia Jones (Wayne), Emory Corley (Charlene) and Adraine Head (Terrance); in-law, Linda Corley; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who mourn his loss.
