William H. Corley, Sr. was born on September 10, 1959, in Blackville, South Carolina to Bertha Corley Saxton and Sammie Lee Bradley.
Later he moved to Jacksonville, Florida. William graduated from Englewood High School where he played football and wrestling winning awards. His favorite past time were fishing and watching sports.
William married the love of his life Sandra Thomas Corley. He shared an extraordinary love with his wife, a bond that endured and flourished for forty-five years marked by unwavering commitment, deep devotion, and a lifeline of shared memories.
William was employed by American Lighting & Signalization (ALS). He was a member at Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church.
William passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bertha Corley Saxton; father, Sammie Bradley; brother, James Saxton; and cousin, Leon Kinard.
William is survived by his devoted wife and lifetime partner, Sandra T. Corley; his daughter, Tiffany Kendrick; two sons, Clarence Kendrick and William H. Corley, Jr.; grandchildren, Alexus Marshall, Mya Marshall, Antwain Marshall Jr., Kylee Kendrick, Camyrn Kendrick, and William H. Corley III; great granddaughters, Mahlani Sermons and A’Miri Lee; siblings, Dorothy Corley, Shirley Williams (Herman), Georgia Corley, Patricia Saxton Hartley, Demetria Corley “Dee”, Sammie Corley (JoAnne), Bernard Curtis Corley (Tonya), Frankie Sanders, Janice Dukes (Jessie) and Lisa Jones; in-laws, Maurine Manning (Eugene), JoAnne Harvey, Zandra Thomas, Hortese Moody, Johnnie Brown, and Keith Thomas; special names, Beatrice Carter, Georgia Bradley (Joe), Esther Martin, Lilly Bell and Margaret Baxter; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
