Willie Clarence Mobley was born on September 1, 1952 in Jacksonville, Florida to Clarence Morgan and Laura Mae Mobley. He was educated in the Duval County Schools graduating from Samuel W. Wolfson High School. He was employed with W.W. Gay for twenty years. Willie was a member of Bethel Baptist Institutional Church.

Willie was united in Holy Matrimony to the love of his life Ms. Gail Mobley for forty-seven years. Together they raised their beautiful children and grandchildren. Together they expressed the importance of family getting along and loving each other. Willie loved helping anyone he could.

God saw fit to send His angel of death into the room of Willie Clarence Mobley with its love and tender care to relieve him from the troubles of this world. On Sunday, March 10, 2024, Willie Clarence Mobley entered into his eternal rest to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by his mother, Laura Mae Mobley; his father, Clarence Morgan; and his brothers, Joe Nathan Mobley and Tyrone Mobley.

Willie leaves to mourn his passing, but to cherish his memories, a loving and devoted wife of forty-seven years, Gail Mobley; children, Justin Mobley, Farris Mobley and Casey Mobley; grandchild, Cassidy Mobley; siblings, Greg Mobley (Vera), Warren Mobley (Johnnie Mae), Lynette Mobley and Kenneth Mobley; in-law, Lewis Dicks; and a host of very special nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
