Winifred Loretta Stewart was born December 22, 1955 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Robert Stewart and Rosa Kate Stewart. Better known as “Winnie” she attended local schools here in Jacksonville, Florida.
Winnie went on to work several occupations for years, her greatest accomplishment was with Memorial Hospital, where she cared for her precious patients over twenty-seven years. Nothing meant more to her than the love of the sick. Winifred had a great and loving personality; a kind heart. She truly was loved by all, to know Winnie was to love Winnie. She was converted at a young age. She never strayed away from her walk with the Lord.
Winnie transitioned from the life of her new life on Thursday, August 28, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Rosa Stewart; stepmother, Flora Stewart; and siblings, Irene, Marty, Tom, Wesley and Latritia.
Winnie leaves to cherish her loving memory, her siblings, Robert Stewart, Timmy Stewart (Dianne), Jesse B.J. Stewart, Missionary Barbara Scayles (Melvin), Evangelist Beverly Solomon (Eddie) and Marion Dorsey; two surviving aunts, Nell Coleman and Ira Stewart; her favorite niece, Penny; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
