Wynoma Hollis affectionately known as “Lil Sister” was born on November 14, 1944, in Dudley, Georgia to the late Theo and Terry Pullins. On Monday, January 5, 2026, Wynoma peacefully entered into eternal rest. She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Hollis; grandchildren, Tiphne Hollis and Miaka Perry; and siblings, Eddie Pullins, Thomas Pullins, Robert Pullins, Theo Pullins Jr. and Wautine Solomon.
Wynoma was a living example of resilience and throughout every season of her life. Even though she faced challenges she faced them with courage, grace, and faith. Her life was a living testimony, and she believed wholeheartedly that God could do what no other power could do.
Wynoma received her bachelor’s in psychology from University of North Florida. She was a teacher with the Duval County Public School System. She was also a retired school bus contractor and a published author.
Lil Sister is survived by her children, Darin Hollis, Ketrina Mariner (Fred), Setina Hollis and Calvin Hollis (Pam); grandchildren, Darryl Owens, Terrell Hollis, Tiambar Hollis, Timothy Hollis Jr., Cayla Hollis, Tyler Robinson, Darin Hollis Jr., Joshua Hollis, Triston Hollis, Bryce Perry, Brandon Perry, Frederick Mariner II and Lillian “Gracie” Mariner; great grandchildren, Gabrielle Owens and Jyshir Hollis; siblings, Larry Pullins (Wilhemina), Barnell Royal (Carlton), Annie “Lois” Pullins and Beverly Fletcher (Louis); special names, Jerry Lee Yarbrough, Glen Lavant and Keith Ivey; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
