Derek Kendall Brown

Derek Kendall Brown, son of Dareyl Kevin Brown and Loretta Olds Brown, born in Jacksonville, Florida on February 14 1986. He accepted Christ at an early age, which helped shape his spiritual journey. He graduated from Episcopal High School of Jacksonville in 2004. He continued his education at the University of Florida, where he obtained his Bachelors of Science in Recreation, Parks and Tourism. As well as being a member of the Sigma Phi Epsolum Fraternity. He completed his education at the New school in New York City with a Master’s of Science in Urban Policy Analysis & Management.

Derek worked as a Hospitality Professional in New York, while also cultivating his passion for photography.

He is affectionally remembered and survived by, Loretta Olds Brown (Mother); Dareyl Kevin Brown (Father); Eve Olds (Grandmother); his two devoted brothers, Dareile Keon Brown and Daniel Ka’ron Brown (Kimberly); his beloved nephew, Kyron Brown; very close cousins, Sherone McKinnie and Toy Planter; his uncles, Kadell (Charlene), William (Diane), Bruce, Ricky, Alan, and Ronnie; aunts, Juanese (Elliot), Angelic (Richard), Annette, and Ann; as well as a host of other cousins, family, and friends.
