Eddie Luzon Willcox, Sr. affectionately known as "Bubba" by family and friends was born in Brunswick Georgia, October 2nd 1950 to Eddie and Minnie Willcox. Bubba was the second child born of that union and moved with his family to Jacksonville, Florida at the age of 8. Bubba accepted Jesus as his savior and was baptized at an early age. He was educated predominantly in Jacksonville area schools and joined the United States Army immediately following high school.
Bubba served in various occupational capacities at several area employers including Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Jacksonville Housing Authority, Jacksonville Electrical Authority and Jacksonville Job Corps.
An avid believer of respect, Bubba would always answer with an "Yes ma'am" or a "No sir". He would say "If you don't mind, may I ask" and of course he would answer you with his infamous "Yeah Man".
