To the Family and Friends of Erik Smart: I am sorry for your loss. Please accept my expression of sympathy. I cannot imagine your pain and sadness at this time. May Jehovah God comfort and support you during this time of sorrow. God has promised to one day put an end to death forever (Isaiah 25:8). Jesus also showed what He will do in the future. The Bible shows that in the future those who have fallen asleep in death will be brought back to life on a paradise earth (John 5:28 and Luke 23:43). Until that time comes may you treasure the special memories you shared.

My deepest condolences for the loss of your dear loved one. While nothing will completely take away your grief, by meditating on Gods promises found in the Bible, you can find real hope and the strength to keep going. My family and I have found the scripture at Isaiah 25:8 to be especially comforting. Here it promises that God "will swallow up death forever and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces."
