Tedwyn’s gift of life was granted June 23, 1984 to Ted, Sr. and Kerwyn Pollard. Tedwyn was a twin and the third of five siblings. He was a member of Mt. Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, where he accepted Jesus Christ as his person Savior and was baptized.
Tedwyn was educated in the Duval County Public Schools system and he also attended Hastings Youth Academy. He was employed with various Jacksonville companies in the construction industry.
Tedwyn expressed love in action and his heart of gold was shared with everyone that he encountered. He never met a stranger and always put other before himself. “Uncle Buck Buck” to the children and “Teddy P” to his friends, but forever our Tedwyn Antwan Pollard.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Willie Fred Pollard, Sr. and Allen Johnson, Sr.; and grandmother, Patricia Ann Wilcox Wright.
Having a deep and overflowing love for his family, he leaves behind his father, Ted Pollard, Sr.; mother, Kerwyn Pollard; fiancé’, Chiquetta Feacher; brothers, Javulin Pollard, Ted Pollard, Jr. and JaColby Robinson; sister, Jacquelle Butler (Marquez); great grandmother, Minnie Bell Pinkney; grandmother, Shirley James; grandfathers, Terrance Robinson (Diane) and Leon Harris, Sr. (Renee); great aunts, Denise Blue, Irma Latimer (Alphonso), Lisa Hardy (Sidney) and Mary Aiken; great uncles, Walter Bright, Jr. and Eddie Wilcox, Sr.; aunts, Valerie Johnson, Shauntrell Polke (Daniel), Kecia McKeiver, Tamiesa Roberts, Cynthia Hunter (Clifford) and Alexis Washington; uncles, Fred Pollard, Jr., Randy Pollard, Allen Johnson, Jr. (Sharla) and Terrance Roberts (Marcea); nieces, ShaColbi, Ahsharia, Kyleigh, Jai’lyn, Janiyah, Shailin, Laiani and Laniyah; nephews, Shanchaze, Kody, Kory, Javulin, Jr., Leiland, Javier and Jamieson; special friends, Bernard Hosendorf, II and Nathaniel Kiser; godsister, Ebony Smith-Mobley; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
